DEFIANCE, Ohio – The music of the season will be featured as the Defiance College Community Band presents the Sixth Annual Holiday Pops Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 7, in the Defiance Community Auditorium, downtown Defiance.
Kids of all ages will enjoy many traditional Christmas selections that includes alto saxophone soloist Tamara Higgins, vocalists Randy Schroeder and Susi Blank, dancers from the Defiance Dance Studio, the Ned Clark Jazz Quartet, and a performance by Generation Music of Defiance Junior High School.
“We are pleased to present this holiday package to our audience,” said music director Vince Polce. “We will have a special visitor from the North Pole with a gift for all the children. Parents should be sure to bring their cameras."
To better serve the children, there will be an early 7 p.m. curtain. The event is free and open to the public.
