DEFIANCE, Ohio – The 2011 Interfaith Lunch Series at Defiance College will begin Tuesday, Jan. 18, at 12 noon in the Buchman Board Room, Serrick Campus Center. Each week a member of a different faith tradition will share some of their spiritual background, answer questions, and invite discussion.
The schedule includes the following speakers and topics:
Jan. 18 - Andrew Pratt, DC student, will discuss the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Jan. 25 - Collette Knight, DC staff member, will speak on her Seventh-Day Adventist and Lutheran experience.
Feb. 8 - Sreyroth Weaner of Defiance will discuss Cambodian Buddhism.
The series is free and open to all. Guests are invited to bring their lunch or purchase lunch in the Serrick cafeteria. The Interfaith Lunch Series is sponsored by the Defiance College Office of Spiritual Life and the Intercultural College Community Task Force. Please contact campus chaplain Rev.
