DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College will open the 2011 Faculty Art Show in the Women’s Commission Gallery on Monday, Feb. 28. The college will host a community reception to celebrate the opening on Tuesday, March 1 from 4 - 6 p.m.
Recent works by faculty members Steve Smith, Doug Fiely, Kathy Funderburg, and Mike Kozumplik will be on display. Works will include paintings, prints, drawings, ceramics, and jewelry. Some pieces will be available for purchase.
The faculty show will run through April 1.
The Women’s Commission Gallery is located on the campus of Defiance College in Dana Hall. It is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. weekdays, or by appointment.
