The Defiance College Schomburg Series
The Defiance College Schomburg Series brings another exciting and diverse slate of performers to the campus and community with its 33rd season. This program schedule will delight all with its variety – featuring components of gypsy, jazz, swing, Celtic music, and folk and contemporary ballads, all in the strong tradition of quality entertainment audiences have come to expect from the Schomburg Series.

Lou Joost Cook Book Pre-orders
The cookbooks are almost ready to be sent to the publisher and we need some idea as to how many to order, so please email Lori Shafer at lshafer@defiance.edu and let her know if you want to purchase one or more. The cost has not been determined yet, but it will be between $12 and $15 for each cookbook. Cookbooks can be paid for when you receive them. All proceeds will go toward the Lou Joost Scholarship Fund. This would make a great Christmas gift for family and friends! The books will include 300+ recipes and also some "memories of Lou" with some pictures of her as well.

New Online Job Posting System for Students and Alumni
The Office of Career Development at Defiance College is pleased to announce a new online job posting and resume database system available for both students and alumni.
Once registered with College Central Network (CCN), you will be able to:
- Search for jobs at any time from any computer.
- Have access to 100,000+ national job postings as well as jobs targeted to Defiance College.
- Post your resume for employers to search.
We will continue to post the Jacket Jobline on our website until June 20, 2008. After June 20, all jobs will be posted in the new CCN system.

If you want employers to consider you when they are searching for candidates, you must upload a resume.
Review the Resume Authorizations carefully and select the option that is appropriate for you. You may change your Authorization at any time.
