"String" Along with us at Defiance College

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College music programs is pleased to present the Black Swamp Orchestra Christmas Concert at 7 p.m. on Dec. 7 located at St. John United Church of Christ, 950 Webster Street. 

The orchestra is under the direction of Nancy Davis and Andrew Favorito. Favorito will also be a soloist with the orchestra, performing the Vivaldi Bassoon Concerto, RV 484 in e minor. Traditional carols will be performed as well as the music of Handel, Corelli and Leroy Anderson.

Join us as we begin the holiday season with fine string music.

The event is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken at the end of the performance. Those wishing to make additional contributions to this performance may mail a check payable to Defiance College, to Andrew Schultz, director of music programs, Defiance College, 701 N. Clinton St., Defiance, OH 43512.
