Abstract thinkers who look for patterns in life and society, who are sensitive to the meaning of words and images, or who are interested in thinking processes can design their own arts and humanities major at Defiance College.

Ideal for students who demand intellectual engagement in more than one subject, the arts and humanities program is focused on high development of critical thinking, communication, and intellectual or artistic awareness. This is sometimes a major for those who have interests beyond any single academic pursuit.
