MISSION
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) at Defiance College provides a variety of entertainment and co-curricular programming for the student body at little or no cost. In addition, CAB encourages students to be active members of the campus community through developing character and scholarship amongst the student body.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership of CAB is open to any student currently enrolled at Defiance College. Any active member receives certain extra rewards such as free admission to paid events, opportunity to attend leadership conferences, and other rewards as they become available.

EXECUTIVE BOARD
Each year an executive board is elected from the active members of CAB. The votes take place two weeks prior to the end of the spring semester and offices are held for the academic year. The current executive board is:

National Association of Campus Activities (NACA)
Defiance College is a member of the National Association of Campus Activities. NACA's school membership provides colleges and universities with the opportunity to become part of the nation’s premiere campus activities organization. Nearly 1,100 schools from across the country are members of NACA, including large and small institutions, public and private schools, two and four year colleges and universities, and community, junior and technical colleges. All member schools share the desire to participate in an organization that helps them create better programming opportunities for students, providing them with information and programs to help enrich the overall educational experience, while also keeping them up-to-date with the latest in the campus activities profession. NACA is split into seven regions. Defiance College is in the Mid-America region along with other schools from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and West Virginia. Each region holds annual conventions. Four to six active members of the Campus Activities Board have the opportunity to attend this convention to have a great time while developing leadership skills.
