Black Action Student Association

BASA provides avenues for students to interact positively with the heritage of African-Americans and other cultures. BASA serves as a "family unit" with respect to personal, social, and intellectual growth for its members and others who participate in the campus community. Any student of Defiance College is eligible to become a member of BASA.

As a member of BASA, you will have many opportunities to network and showcase your abilities with several different college communities, ranging from employment opportunities to social functions. BASA hosts several events throughout the year such as poetry nights, fashion shows, dances and dinners.
