Break Housing
Office of Residence Life

All residents are asked to leave the residence halls within 24 hours after their last final.  The residence halls will officially close for the summer on Thursday, May 2nd at noon.  As students leave for break they are asked to do the following tasks:

1. Remove all personal items from the room
2. Clean the room
3. Set up a time with an RA to check out of their room

If you need to remain on campus until Commencement, you must complete the Break Occupancy Agreement and turn it into the Office of Residence Life no later than Tuesday, April 30th, by 1:00pm.

Residents requesting to stay in the residence halls must meet the following criteria:

• In season athlete - athletes must fill out their own break housing agreement to stay… Your coaches will not do this for you.
  
  
• Participating in the commencement ceremony.
  
  
• Are staying for a school sanctioned event that has been approved by the Office of Residence Life.
  
  
• All other residents that do not meet the criteria listed above, but have a need to stay on campus during break will be granted approval at the discretion of the Director of Residence Life.

Summer Housing
If you wish to stay in housing over the summer break please fill out the Summer Housing Application.  The Summer Housing Applications are due to the Office of Residence Life by Friday, April 26th at noon.

Unapproved residents found in the halls during the break will be required to leave immediately.
