Meal Plan Options Participation in the college meal program is required of all students residing in college housing.
Carte Blanche (Unlimited meals/week + $50.00/semester munch money)	$2,065 per sem. / $4,130 per year
14 Meal Plan (14 meals/week + $150.00/semester munch money)	$2,065 per sem. / $4,130 per year
10 Meal Plan (10 meals/week + $225.00/semester munch money)	$2,065 per sem. / $4,130 per year

Commuter Meal Plans Commuter meal plans can be purchased directly from Sodexo Dining at Defiance College by contacting Becky Wright at 419-783-2488. Meal Plan Changes Meal plan changes must be received in writing by June 15, 2013 for Fall semester 2013 and by November 15, 2013 for Spring semester 2014. Requests for changes past the deadline will be assessed a $50.00 change fee. Meal Plan Change Request Form

* The 75-Block meal plan is reserved for students that have earned 84+ credit hours and are assigned to live in the Jacket Suites or Grand Avenue apartments.

Do I have to be on a meal plan?
Participation in the college meal program is required of all students residing in college housing.

What is munch money?
Resident students are allotted munch money to use at the Hive (snack bar) located in the Hubbard Hall McCann lounge or with our outside vendors. The Hive offers soda, snack food and short-order grill combination meals. The munch money works like a debit account and any unused funds will carry over from fall semester to spring semester. However, there is no carry over from year to year.

What meal plan are athletes required to be on?
There are no meal plan restrictions for athletes.

How do I change my meal plan?
Meal plan changes must be submitted in writing to the Office of Residence Life by June 15, 2013 for fall 2013 semester and by November 15, 2013 for spring 2014 semester. Requests to change meal plans made after this deadline will be assessed a $50.00 fee.
