Defiance College Ambassadors

Defiance College Ambassadors represent the college during special on-campus events such as board of trustees meetings, special visit days, and graduation. They also showcase our Campus through guided tours.

To become an Ambassador, students must apply for the position, submit letters of recommendation from professors, and be interviewed by a selection committee. The Defiance College Ambassadors are very involved on campus. Their activities range from student-athlete, to service learning, to student government, and to the academic honors program, just to name a few. 	Plans after Defiance College: I plan to attend the University of Central Florida to get my Master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages. One day, I hope to teach in Spain.

	Why you chose DC: I was not the best student in high school, and was not provided with many opportunities to attend college. Defiance was the only place who treated me and my family with respect and gave me the chance to attend college.
	Plans after Defiance College: I plan to attend graduate school. I would ideally like to find a graduate assistant position so I could remain involved in sports. When that is accomplished, I plan to be an adaptive physical education teacher.
