The accounting major is a professional program designed for students who want a solid foundation in all functional aspects of business plus specialized courses in Accounting. Students may select the traditional four-year plan of study leading to a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Accounting or they may select the five-year program leading to a Master's Degree in Business and Organizational Leadership. Students who select the five-year plan will have the 150 credit hour requirement necessary to sit for the CPA exam.
"When I started school, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do. However, I now know that I made the right choice with my dual majors in accounting and management, because the classes have allowed me to learn great things and have taught me real world applications for my degree. These classes allowed me to obtain an internship with the Ohio State Auditor's Office, and have opened the door to great opportunities after graduation." -- Emily Rosebrock, Accounting Major
