Weekend College is designed for adults who are interested in earning a bachelor's degree in a challenging but flexible format. The goal is for participants in Weekend College to become a community of learners who share common goals, have similar life experiences and will support each other in the learning process. The every-other-week schedule allows opportunity for study and library work while handling work and family obligations.

Students pursuing a major available through Weekend College are admitted through the Center for Adult Programs. Undergraduate students enrolled in Weekend College are advised through the Center for Adult Programs. The respective graduate program coordinator advises graduate students.

Adults that are pursuing a major that is not available through Weekend College are welcome to complete the college's general education requirements through weekend classes. Weekend College courses are limited to students above the age of 23 or who have life circumstances that require weekend courses such as employment and/or family obligations.
