Dr. Ron Slinger '91
Ron Slinger graduated from DC in 1991 with a B.S. in Communication Arts. During his years at DC, he was involved with Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and the Speech Team. He also was a Resident Advisor, Assistant Residence Director, and on the football team. Ron is now the President of Miles Community College in Miles City, MT. He also obtained his Master of Arts in Education from Bowling Green State University (1993) and his Doctorate of Education from Ferris State University (2022).
Dr. Slinger has been elected to public office four times (school board member, county commissioner, and mayor, to name a few). He also is an Aspen Institute Fellow and on various other boards. Moreover, he received the Pilgrim Medal from Defiance College, among other different awards.
Dr. Slinger's favorite memory about his time at DC was the Speech Team with Dr. Younger and being on the Football Team.
