Biology Camp
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Defiance College is committed to providing fun learning opportunities for all students.
Dr. Patrick Cain is looking to give high school students a unique learning experience
while staying on a college campus. Completion of this course is rewarded with 2 Credits
of BIO 295.
This course provides an introduction to college-level field work in biology. Students
will learn techniques to measure plant and animal diversity in the field, and experience
the many unique natural features of northwest Ohio. When not in the field, students
will analyze and identify samples in the lab, and stay in the dorms on the campus
of Defiance College.
