DC Students Celebrate Black History Month

DEFIANCE, Ohio - Defiance College’s Black Action Student Association (BASA) will perform a production
called “Remembering Our Roots, Lest We Forget” for Black History Month. The event
will be a combination of dance, poetry and drama in remembrance of historical figures
in black history, the Civil Rights Movement and international political figures.
The production will be held Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. in Schomburg Auditorium. There will be a reception immediately following the show.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
