Defiance College hosts fall Open Houses on Oct 14 and Nov 9

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College's Office of Admissions will host two fall open house events for interested students on Monday, Oct. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 9. Open house offers students and their families an opportunity to explore campus, academic programs and scholarships, student organizations, athletics, and residential life. The day begins with registration from 8:30 to 9 a.m. in the Serrick Campus Center.
"At open house, students can tour campus, meet faculty and DC students, and learn about all of the great opportunities that await them," said Brad Harsha, director of admissions. "From their own Personal Success Plan that helps establish college goals, to our wide variety of academic and co-curricular programs, students will learn how Defiance College transforms classroom knowledge into real-world experiences."
Visitors will hear from current DC students and faculty about the distinctive hands-on opportunities available in all fields of study through internships, domestic and international travel, diverse cultural encounters, and service and research opportunities.
Defiance College is nationally recognized for its culture of engagement. It is among the top 20 in the nation named as a Presidential Award Finalist for the 2013 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
