Chamber Singers to present Dec. 6 and 7 Holiday Concerts

DEFIANCE, Ohio –The Defiance College Chamber Singers in conjunction with the University Chorale of The Ohio State University at Lima will be presenting two holiday concerts. The first concert will be held at Market Street Presbyterian, 1100 W. Market St., Lima, on Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. The second performance will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. at St. John United Church of Christ, 950 Webster St., Defiance.
Both performances will feature new arrangements of holiday favorites with orchestral accompaniment. Familiar titles include O Come, All Ye Faithful, In the Bleak Midwinter and O Holy Night.
African Noel and Guadete will feature DC’s director of bands and percussionist Bridget Leahy. Candace Stoffel, DC piano instructor, will also be featured on multiple four-hand piano selections with Dr. Meggie Young of OSU-Lima.

Both events are free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken at the end of each performance.
