"String" Along with us at Defiance College

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College music programs is pleased to present the Black Swamp String Orchestra’s Christmas Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. in St. John United Church of Christ, 950 Webster St.
The orchestra is under the direction of Nancy Davis and Andrew Favorito. The first half of the concert will include selections from Handel’s Messiah, including Carolyn Small on harpsichord and tenor soloist Andrew Schultz. Traditional carols will be performed in the second half as well as the ending the program with Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride!
Join us as Defiance College concludes its holiday music presentation with the 60-piece Black Swamp String Orchestra.
The event is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken at the end of the performance. Those wishing to make additional contributions to this performance may mail a check payable to Defiance College, to Andrew Schultz, director of music programs, Defiance College, 701 N. Clinton St., Defiance, OH 43512.
