DC Players to perform ‘The Final Round’ Feb. 20-23

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College’s DC Players will present “The Final Round” by Kara
Quillard on Feb. 20-23. The performances will be held in Schomburg Auditorium beginning
at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
"The Final Round" is a play about friends who are in college, and all of the ups,
downs, and turning points in friendships, as well as the reunions that come with time.
It is a play that encourages all to reflect on the relationships of our lives.
This production is performed by DC students: Phillip Balla, Rossford; Toni-Ann Boyd,
Jamaica; Amanda Fooce, Bellevue; Gareth MacMillan, Coloma, Mich.; and stage managed
by Beth Pieonski, Sheffield Lake, and Kelsea Burns, Antwerp. Also performing is Nolan
Fout.
The production is presented under the direction of Danae Jimenez in her second year
with the DC Players.
Admission is $5, and tickets will be available at the door. The event is free to
DC students, faculty and staff with a valid campus ID. Some language may not be suitable
for children.
