Defiance College Community Band Veterans’ Concert planned for Nov. 11

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Community Band will perform its annual “Tribute to Veterans” concert on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Defiance Community Auditorium, downtown Defiance. The concert will feature the Defiance College Chamber Singers and Defiance College Choral Union.

DC director of bands Bridget Olenik will conduct the Armed Services tribute, and conductors Cathy Booth and Scott Rogers will round out the program with songs from our nation’s rich musical heritage.

The concert will also include Jamie Blank, the “voice” of the DCCB, and playing of the greatest march ever written, “The Stars and Stripes Forever.”

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Come and help celebrate America and honor the men and women who made our freedom possible.
