Veterans tribute by Defiance College Community Band Nov. 8

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College Community Band will be performing a salute to all veterans on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Defiance Community Auditorium. The concert will highlight and honor our veterans with a variety of patriotic selections.
Co-conductors Cathy Booth and Scott Rogers will round out the program with songs that capture our nation’s rich musical heritage, including some of John Philip Sousa’s great marches and Big Band favorites by Bob Lowden.
The concert will include the patriotic march “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and other well-known songs. Come to the event and help celebrate America and honor the men and women who made our freedom possible.
