Celebrate the season with DC Chamber Singers and BSSO

DEFIANCE, Ohio - This weekend, Defiance College Music Programs will present the DC Chamber Singers and Black Swamp Symphony Orchestra in a Holiday Celebration performance.
The first performance will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, at St. John United Church of Christ, 950 Webster Street, Defiance. The musicians will return for a repeat show at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 903 Center Street, Bryan.
Holiday Celebration features holiday favorites, including a collaboration of the choir and orchestra in “A Christmas Festival.” The DC Chamber Singers will perform anthems and spirituals for Christmas, and the orchestra will play music to portray the many moods of the holiday season.
The choir is led by Director of Music Programs Jim Watson and the orchestra is led by Conductor Scott McIntosh.
Admission is free and the event is open to the public. The ushers will collect a free-will offering at the conclusion of the concert.
