Transfer student opportunities available at Defiance College for spring semester

DEFIANCE, Ohio - Defiance College offers a wide range of opportunities, including new academic scholarships, for college students already holding an associate degree or looking to transfer from their current institution. Express application and registration day is scheduled on Friday, Jan. 4, specifically to serve the needs of transfer students.
New academic scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 are available to eligible transfer students as well as a $2,000 scholarship for students who have completed an associate degree. “Defiance College is committed to an affordable college experience immersed in the private, liberal arts experience,” said Brenda Averesch, assistant dean of admissions and financial aid.
Defiance College offers more than 40 academic programs as well as a wide variety of organizations and activities. Student-athletes can continue their athletic experience at the NCAA Division III level.
Defiance partners on articulation agreements with Northwest State Community College, Owens Community College and Terra State Community College to make the transfer process as seamless as possible.
