PART-TIME FACULTY POSITIONS
Defiance College is often in need of qualified individuals for our part-time faculty pool. Format of classes is generally face-to-face and content areas of need vary from semester to semester. Part-time faculty are responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well-prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic assessment of learning, clear directives, and timely and helpful feedback. Applicants must hold a master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in relevant field and professional or teaching experience desirable.
INSTRUCTORS FOR APPLIED MUSIC LESSONS
Defiance College is seeking to build an applicant pool for anticipated instructional needs in applied music lessons for:
Woodwinds: flute, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone
Brass: trumpet, french horn, baritone, trombone, tuba
Strings: violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar
Instructors provide 14 lessons and a performance assessment per semester. Instructors will have the potential to build private studios and work with ensembles. The Music Program seeks candidates with an interest in working with students of all skill levels, as well as energy and drive to contribute to growing a small program. Candidates must hold a master's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or other related field. TEACHER EDUCATION CLINICAL SUPERVISORS
The Teacher Education program is seeking part-time Clinical Supervisors for Teacher Education students participating in 5-week practicum experiences and in 15-week student teaching experiences for the Fall and Spring semesters. Our Licensure areas include Early and Middle Childhood Education, Adolescent and Young Adult (core content areas), and Intervention Specialist Mild-to-Moderate (K-12). Clinical Supervisors are required to make site visits during normal school hours and attend meetings and/or training sessions on campus.
Requirements include a master's degree in Education and teaching experience in P-12 schools. A current teaching license within the areas indicated above is preferred. Defiance College seeks an individual to assist in the maintenance and repair of campus facilities and equipment, with primary emphasis on carpentry and painting. Applicants should also have some experience and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, renovations and grounds keeping and will also assist with maintenance troubleshooting and repair of various types of equipment. Must be proficient in the operation of many types of equipment, possess a valid, and hold an unrestricted driver's license. Tools required. This position is a vital service function to the College so the selected individual must be able to complete work assignments and perform duties in a reliable, dependable, and timely manner.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS
Defiance College invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Assistant Director will collaborate with marketing for digital marketing initiatives that promote the Defi Online suite of programs. The ability to innovate with the latest technology, collaborate and work with various constituents such as human resource offices and hospitals to coordinate visits, and ensure timely follow up with graduate enrollment is paramount. The successful candidate will have responsibilities for both undergraduate and graduate admission and must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
This position requires a bachelor's degree (masters preferred) and a minimum of two years of prior higher education admissions experience. Three years of professional work with online programs and prior experience working with faculty is highly desirable.
