DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College and Mercy Children’s Hospital Foundation will sponsor Dance Marathon on Nov. 9 from 5 p.m. – 1 a.m. at the Weaner Community Center, McMaster gymnasium. Students stand on their feet for eight hours in honor of the hospital staff that stands on their feet all night taking care of the sick. Families and children from Mercy Children’s Hospital will be present during the event to share their story and what Dance Marathon means to them.
This event is open to the public. The cost is $10 to pre-register and receive a t-shirt, or $5 at the door. All donations and proceeds go directly to the Mercy Children’s Hospital Foundation. For more information contact Tasha Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Refreshments will be available, courtesy of local restaurants, along with inflatables, music, and other games and activities. The event will run for eight hours but anyone is welcome to come and dance throughout the evening.
